The girls did gymnastics for the first time this spring.  Because we weren't wanting it to be too serious, we did it through the Rancho Santa Margarita recreation program.  It was perfect for their level and a great way to introduce them to the sport.

They started each day with stretching....
Followed by back bends.
Then handstands....
And some one handed cartwheels.
And even some back somersaults.

The girls loved their teacher, Marie Corbett.

They had a little "competition" at the end of their 6 week class.  Bailey places second and Natalie placed third.

It was fun to have Grandpa Bruschke and Dad their for the performance.

After the first class the boys had seen enough handstands and cartwheels, so they kept themselves entertained with cars and books.
