Walk around the Lake

The weather has been beautiful, and the kids have been a little stir crazy, so we decided to head out to the lake with our bikes and scooters and get some energy out.
We brought some bread with us to feed the ducks. . .but we couldn't find any so we fed the pigeons and some other bird thing instead.

Hunter came along for the ride and slept the entire time. My friend told me about the "Moby Wrap" that she used for her son and I couldn't help but want one for Hunter. It was a little out of my budget, so I went out and got some material and made one for myself. It has been a life saver. I wish I would have had one for all of the kids. I love having Hunter close to me while still having two hands to help out the others kids. And best of all, my back doesn't hurt, even after wearing it for a couple of hours! Highly, highly recommend it. And finally a picture of all the kids. I love how much they love each other and don't mind being close, even after taking TONS of pictures (it took forever to catch a picture with everyone smiling AND looking at the camera). I love these kids, even if they do drive me crazy sometimes!

Looks like you fed some coots! Hard to tell from the picture. Coots are small waterfowl with gray bodies and black head with a white/very light colored bill. Eyes are red. Also known as mudhens. Not a true duck and not the best eating. Not graceful fliers either. Easy to recognize by the way they "strut" through the water.

Nice to get out with the family!

You will have to show me the Moby wrap when I get around to another kid. I have seen them and they look awesome! I can't believe you got all four kids smiling and looking at the camera in that picture. That is amazing!
