Tribute to Tanner

Tanner hit 7 months this past week. A couple of weeks ago he started crawling around and sitting up. It adds a whole new dimension to play time and my ability to keep track of him. Luckily he isn't too fast in his crawling yet! He does love to come over and play with my feet as I am trying to get dinner on the table. Instead of making his way around the table, he insists on going under it and the chairs.Tanner had an especially rough evening one night this past week when I was making dinner. He followed me around the kitchen crying, and then all of the sudden he stopped. I turned around and found him face down on the tile, fast asleep. Silly boy!
He has also decided that toy cars and sweaters make for good sleeping. Brett and Grandpa Bruce were doing something on the computer and turned to find Tanner asleep like this: Spencer and Natalie love to pick Tanner up and hold him, no matter how many times I tell that it is not ok unless I am there helping. But it does allow for fun pictures like this that we will cherish forever.
