I have been waiting and waiting to do this post. First I wanted to wait until after we were 12 weeks along (that paranoia comes after two late first trimester miscarriages). And then I thought it would be fun to wait until we had our 20 week ultra sound so we could announce our pregnancy and the sex of the baby all in one. And now I have been waiting for Brett and me to be home for ANY amount of time together so he could help me scan and put pictures from the ultra sound up (for some reason the format that our scanner scans things in can't be put up as a picture-don't ask me, I really don't understand, obviously). Alas, you get what you get, a picture-less announcement that yes indeed we are pregnant. Does anyone have any good girls names? Good, keep them to yourself because we are a little boy!
We are all very excited here (albeit a little nervous to be having baby number 5). My due date is February 8, which seems like forever away, but I know that time will past quickly. Spencer can't wait to have another little baby brother, and although the girls were both hoping for a little sister, they can't stop talking about how excited they are as well. I think that Natalie has been the cutest about the baby, often coming up to me and asking how the baby is doing as she rubs my stomach fondly or telling the other kids they need to be quiet because the baby is sleeping (not quite sure how she figures that one out). It has been fun to have the kids old enough to understand what is going on. They have been in on the "secret" since I was about 8 weeks and have done an amazing job at keeping it to themselves. The hard part has been getting them to understand that it is ok to tell people now. But my belly is growing exponentially now, so there is no hiding it anymore. We are pregnant with a baby boy!
