Baseball season is in full swing and completely consuming any free time that we had. Spencer seems to be enjoying it and we see improvements each time he is out on the field.
Spencer says that his favorite position is catcher. I don't know that he will be saying that in a month or so when it started to get hot for his games, but right now he loves it because he gets to touch the ball more.Wednesday, March 31, 2010

FHE
I love Monday nights and having Family Home Evening! Because the kids are still so young, we don't do a lot. We just sing some songs and then read a story from the Friend and discuss the gospel principle from the story. It is nice to know that we will have Dad home at least one night a week. I love my family!

Happy Birthday Bailey and Taylor
On March 7th Bailey celebrated her 4th birthday. Bailey shares her birthday with her cousin Taylor, so they got to celebrate together. We all went over to Grandma and Grandpa Higham's house for a yummy dinner chased down with cupcakes and ice cream.

After leaving the Higham's we headed back home to open presents. We love that our children have so much fun together!
Hunter Hangin' with Family
The following are a bunch of pictures taken over the past month or so. Random events with only one thing in common, Hunter. This little boy surely is loved!

Hunter's Blessing Day
We blessed Hunter on February 7th. He was just a week and a half old at the time, but Grandma and Grandpa Bruschke we going to be in town, so we decided to do it while they were here, so they wouldn't have to make a special trip (of course, maybe we should have put it off so we could have seen Grandma Bruschke again). Brett gave Hunter a beautiful blessing and the day was great spending time with so much family.
Taylor Yee and Hunter
This was our family as we attempted to get organized for a picture. It is what you get as you try to get seven people situated (still crazy to think we are a family of SEVEN!).And here is our best shot. Not perfect by any means, but good enough and now we have a nice picture with all of us. We will have to try again when Hunter is a little older.

Moving in with the Boys
It is crazy hard to believe that Hunter is already 6 weeks old. He is growing so fast. We have officially moved him into the "boys" room and he is taking it like a champ.
He goes to seep around 9:30, wakes up to eat around 3 and then sleeps until the rest of us start getting up, normally around 6:30. Not to shabby, although even though he is sleeping so well, somehow I am still extremely exhausted.
He has started to give us smiles, but they are few and far between. Sometimes I think he is just teasing us and knows that if he just throws out one occasionally we will work that much harder to get him to smile. Hopefully one day soon his smiles will be consistent, not only so I can capture a picture, but for sanities sake as well (it makes it so much more worth all the work when you see that are happy!).
And here is just a picture of the "girls" room, just for memories sake.
