Thank you to everyone that was concerned with how I was doing. I feel a millions times better than I did last week. Our family came down with the flu and it seemed to hit me the hardest. I had a fever of 103 degrees and higher for 6 days and my body wasn't liking it at all. Needless to say that I am appreciating my health much more this week than I have lately. My house finally seems to be back in order from being sick and being on vacation. It was horrible timing coming home from a vacation and being sick all at the same time. It made for pure chaos at home. Luckily we have great kids that let me rest and even took good care of me (Spencer was constantly asking what he could do to help. He would even bring me a trash can to throw away my tissue after each nose blow.). And now it is back to normal life, including regular blogging, I hope. . .

Poor Rachel
Sometimes (like a couple of months ago with Bailey) little girls are so tired and exhausted that they fall asleep with their heads on the kitchen table during dinner. Other times big girls are so tired and exhausted from being on day 5 of the worst flu ever, with fever, chills, body aches, and nasty head congestion, that they fall asleep with their head on the dryer door while trying to do the laundry. (Thanks Rachel for being such a trooper. I hope you feel better soon.)
When I found her like this she quietly whispered, "it's so warm".

Winter Concert
Spencer had a concert for his music class at school. He is a very animated little singer and it was fun to hear the songs he has been learning all year. I added a little clip of him singing one of the songs (Spencer is the third in on the front row). It is kind of long, but some of his "dancing" is really cute, especially his last move. He had Brett and me laughing. I am afraid he inherited my dancing ability. Sorry Spence! Thanks for being the cute boy that you are!

Gotta love Krispy Kreme
The kids got gift certificates to Krispy Kreme for Christmas, so we decided to go cash in and invited Becky, Liz and Michael to come with us. I was excited for the kids to see the donuts being made, but unfortunately they were behind schedule. I guess that just means that we will have to make a return trip someday.
